Massage is an important co treatment of chiropractic and stretching. Not only is it great for general relaxation, it plays a crucial role with muscle patterns that pull bones out of alignment further causing pain that can become a chronic pain. Patients that get massage therapy on a regular basis tend to have improved symptoms caused by anxiety, headaches, forms of nerve pain, respond better and faster to soft tissue strains and injuries and holding their chiropractic adjustments longer giving a better quality of life. Massage has also been proven to help with improving circulation, decreasing muscle stiffness, helping decrease joint inflammation, improving flexibility providing better quality of sleep and having and overall feeling of improved wellness.
Stretch Therapy
A great way of looking at importance of stretching is flexibility. We don't age because of a number, we age because we are less mobile due to decreased flexibility making things more difficult. Establishing and sticking with a consistent stretching regime can make a profound difference in sleep, mental clarity, and flexibility help prevent injuries, improve posture, and elongate muscles. Stretching is especially important when we co treat with chiropractic. In addition to massage therapy, stretching specific muscle patterns that are found that can help decrease pain and improve adjustment outcomes
